INTRODUCTION

　　HD Dark-Eagles is Dark Vision Camera, a novel product with our own Intellectual Property. It is currently the most advanced dark vision camera device in the world. The technology employed in HD Dark-Eagles is different from the infrared imaging and glimmer night-vision technologies. The former can only image the thermal outline of human body and objects, but cannot visualize clearly their real appearance. The latter requires low light level in the surroundings (such as moonlight, star-light and other environmental light), but nothing can be visualized if there is totally no light. Although auxiliary illumination using an infra-red lamp can enable imaging, it cannot solve the problems including the infra-red light exposure, incapability of hidden observation, easy self-exposure, and the image interference due to the light wave.

　　HD Dark-Eagles, in contrast, can overcome these difficulties inherent in night-vision technologies and in the mean time achieve the superior visible effect and clarity. It can take high-resolution video images under various illumination conditions such as complete darkness (zero illumination), low and high light levels. It is a unique product unprecedentedly, which can image the objects and human being without the need of visible light at night but can visualize them on the monitor just as operating during the daytime. It is especially suitable for security and surveillance monitoring and is at present the clearest night-vision product in the world. 　 　

　　FEATURE

　　１）HD Dark-Eagles is totally uninfluenced by the environmental illumination, making the video image capture under zero illumination possible.

　　２）The quality of image taken under the zero illumination is identical to that taken under the glimmer and glare conditions.

　　３）It operates properly hidden in entirely dark environment. It can thus be used safely and reliably, especially for the military and surveillance under cover at night.

　　４）It can also operate as traditional cameras to capture colored images during the daytime. The image color is automatically switchable between the black-and-white and colorful modes according to the environmental light conditions, or it can be controlled via RS-485 command.

　　５）Disturbance and noise in the captured video are filtered by the unique optic and digital processing, making the images taken in zero illumination and under visible light are similarly clear.

　　Product Category and application

　　There are three types of HD Dark-Eagles available including the indoor, outdoor and explosion-proof series. The classification is based upon the visual range of zero illumination and application circumstances. The performance index can be found in the Tables “Product Category and Performance Index”.

• Indoor : OPVDE1000; visual range: 10, 20, 30 meters*

　　　Application: Suitable for the environment that requires hidden indoor monitoring.

• Outdoor: OPVDE2000; visual range: 50, 100, 150, 200, 250, 300, 350 m

　　　Application: Suitable for the environment that requires wide-range outdoor monitoring with light control and secrecy

• Explosion-proof: OPVDE3000; visual range: 10, 20, 30, 50, 100, 150, 200, 250 m

  Application: Suitable for the flammable and explosive environments such as marine oil platform, coal mining, natural gas, chemical engineering and ammunition depot.

  *The visual range of 10 m means this HD Dark-Eagles operates properly in 0-10 m.
